Event Details
(Photographic
themes: - culture, fishing village, people and
sunset.)
At 6.30am, we take
a scenic drive to witness the annual sunning of the
giant canvas painting of Sakyamuni Buddha at the Tibetan-styled temple.
The giant canvas
measuring 60m x 12m, said to be the longest canvas
painting of Sakyamuni Buddha in South East Asia. The uniqueness of the
event promises wonderful photographic
opportunities.
After enjoying
lunch on your own, we proceed to the fishing village at
Kuala Gula. The village has retained its charm and personality,
possibly for being far from the curious
eyes of locals and foreign
visitors.
Then, a short
drive takes us to Kuala Kurau for a sunset view. Kuala
Kurau is a quaint, charming place. Fishing boats dotted all over the
village form a picturesque scene.
After shooting some beautiful sunset
images of the village, we head back to Penang Island. We target to
reach Penang Isand at 10pm.
